The Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information (CPRFAPI) and the Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM) will hold the finishing press conference for the project “Technical Assistance and Rising of the Awareness for the Support of the Application of the Law on Free Access to Public Information” at the “Holiday Inn” hotel on July 9, 11.00 – 14.00 hours. The implementation of the project started in September 2007 with the financial support of the British Embassy in Skopje.
The results of the activities of the project’s implementation will be presented at the conference, as well as the experiences of the trainers from the educational sessions with the persons in charge of mediating the public information.
A booklet with the documented experiences of the Commission gathered from the processing of the cases for access to public information since the adoption of the Law in 2006 will also be presented at the Conference.
The Deputy Minister of Justice, Ibrahim Ibrahimi, the British Ambassador, Andrew Key, representatives of the information holders and other state institutions, as well as representatives of the media will attend at the Conference.
