On the basis of the Article 1 paragraph 3 of the Law on free access to public information (Official Gazette in Republic Macedonia’’ nr. 13/2006, 86/2008, 6/ 2010), the Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information, on the session held in April 12, 2012, adopted a GUIDANCE for the way and the procedure for implementation of the Law for free access to public information.
   The specified Guidance is intended for the requesters and holders of public information. Its purpose for requesters is to enable faster and more efficiently submit request to the information holder and in more simple way to gain the requested information, with which will realize their right of free access to public information. This right is guaranteed  with the Constitution of Republic Macedonia, and is operated with the Law for free access to public information.
   Simultaneously, this lawful act has a goal for the information holder to enable faster and efficient way to implement the procedure on requesting public information. With the adoption of the mentioned Guidance terminates the Guidance for the way and the procedure for implementation of the Law for free access to public information adopted in 2006.
