Today, in the premises of the Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information, was held training for officials from the state institutions, as well persons from the institutions who execute public authorizations. The training was on topic: ,, The right of free access to public information,, and the same was realized to raise the awareness for the meaning of this democratic right which the citizens can use it, as well for the degree of the implementation of the Law in practise by the officials.
The training was held by experts from the Secretariat of the Commission, who familiarized the attendees with the history and the development of the right of free access to public information, and in the second part, the Law was presented by practical examples. The officials were familiarized with the procedure on requesting public information, for the procedure of the complaint and the misdemeanour and for the obligation of the owners of information to prepare Annual Report. In the finished part of the training were elaborated examples from the recent practise of the officials, who brought their views for the process of the procedures of requests that were directed to their institutions.
