
Out of the total 330 complaints submitted during 2007, in accordance to the Law on Free Access to Public Information, the citizens submitted 197 complaints against the state institutions. The dissatisfaction from the so called quiet denial or the improper delivery of the requested information, as well as the incomplete or partial documentation of certain requests, the citizens manifested through submitting of other 37 complaints against the political parties, as well as 28 complaints against shareholders companies. In the mentioned period, the Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information as a second degree organ had an obligation to decide on 22 complaints against the local self government units, i.e. 19 complaints submitted by the applicants for information as a manifestation of dissatisfaction from the implementation of the Law on FAPI.
In the calendar year 2007 other 15 complaints against public enterprises and institutions were submitted, 11 complaints against educational institutions, as well as 1 complaint against a physical entity.
