In the period between April 8 and June 12, 2008, in the premises of the Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information several two-day trainings for sixteen groups of persons in charge of handling public information took place.
The training was part of the project “Technical Help and Assistance for Rising of the Awareness and for Giving Support to the Application of the Law on Free Access to Public Information” financially supported by the Embassy of Great Britain, and approved by the Government of RM.
Beneficiaries and implementers of the Project are the Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information and the Macedonian Institute for Media. This Project prepares 50 trainings for approximately thousand official persons in the following 10 months. The aim of these trainings is to realize a more transparent governing in RM, as well as a more professional communication with the media and the public in the process of euro-integration of RM.
The practical realization of this Project begun at the end of last year, with the training of the members of the Commission and the employees of the Expert Service and with the two trainings for official trainers, previously chosen from the state administration and the nongovernmental sector of RM.
