BERLINThe delegation of the Commission for Protection of the Right to Free Access to Public Information of Republic Macedonia, composed from the President Pece Tashevski, the member Katerina Dimeska and junior associate of the Secretariat Makfierete Morina, on 12 and 13 November realized working visit in the Office of the Federal Commissioner for the Protection of Personal Data and the Freedom of Information in Berlin. The study visit was organized by the TAIEX instrument of European Commission, which was on topic: Insight of the documentations to the holders of information, as a tool for obtaining the required information.  Statistical comparative perspective’’. Host of the Macedonian delegation was Claus Gronenberg, ministerial adviser, Head of Department IX-Freedom of Information and Chief of the Liaison Office in Berlin.
The Macedonian delegation had separate meeting also with the Berlin Commissioner for Protection of Personal Data and Freedom of Information, Alexander Dicks, with who the President of the Macedonian Commission previously had signed Declaration for cooperation between the two relative institutions.
The discussions were about the exemptions for free access in the Macedonian and German legislation, as well for the implementation of the Laws on Free Access to Public Information in both countries.
To the members of the Commission was sent official invitation to participate in the International conference for free access to information that in September 2013 will be held in Berlin.
