– oversees and studies EU policies and legislation;
– coordinates and offers expert support to the process of approximation of legislation of the Republic of Macedonia to the European Union legislation;
– takes care of construction and strengthening the institutional infrastructure necessary for integration of the Republic of Macedonia with the EU;
– programs and plans the priorities of the Republic of Macedonia for realization of foreign-technical assistance;
– regulates relations with donors and the implementation of technical assistance programs;
– offers support to the Government’s bodies, which competencies are within the sphere of integration of the Republic of Macedonia with the EU;
– manages the process of translation of EU legislation and other documents related to integration process of the Republic of Macedonia with the EU;
