– Prepares guidance for the work of the Department and a charter for internal audit;
– Prepares an applies an annual plan for internal audit based on risk evaluation;
– Coordinates the work of the internal audit;
– In conflict of interests situation, informs the Secretary General of the Government;
– Promptly informs the Secretary General of the Government about any irregularities that may result in criminal or other types of charges;
– Provides a high quality internal audit and application of the direction of the Minister of Economy;
– Prepares annual plans for trainings for the needs of the Department; and
– Performs other authorisations.
