The Ministry of Labour and Social Policy performs the activities that refer to:
– working relations, employing and employment;
– pension-disabled insurance;
– protection of workers during their work;
– material allowance of temporary unemployed;
– wages and living standard;
– social policy;
– human population policy for coordinated economic social development;
– legal relations in marriage, family and illegitimate community;
– relations between parents and children, guardianship and adoption;
– promotion of gender equality;
– protection of children and minors;
– protection of youth and women;
– protection of individuals with impediments;
– protection of civil war disabled and of the family whose provider is in compulsory army service;
– protection of veterans from Anti-Fascistic War and from all national liberation wars of Macedonia, war disabled persons, persecuted and imprisoned persons for the ideals of wellbeing of Macedonian people its statehood, as well as of the members of their families who have no possibilities for material and social existence;
– supervision within its competencies and
– it performs other activities stipulated by the Law.
