The Ministry of Defence performs the activities related to:
– realization of the system of defence of independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Macedonia;
– planning, organization, equipping, development and preparation of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia and realization of the defined plans;
– organization and preparation for defence and civil protection;
– organization and carrying out of the defence training;
– organization and preparation for surveillance and informing, command liaisons and crypto-protection;
– supervision within its competencies and
– it performs other activities stipulated by the law.
