The Ministry of Interior performs the activities referring to:
– realization of the system of state and public security;
– registering of the permanent residence and the temporary residence;
– citizenship and passports for crossing the state border;
– movement and stay in the border-line area;
– control of the crossing of the state border, as well as certain activities related to defining and resolving border incidents and other breaches of the border;
– stay and movement of foreign citizens;
– production, trade, storing and protection of inflammable liquids, gases, explosives and other hazardous materials and transport of these materials;
– offering help during natural disasters and epidemics;
– procurement, possession, carrying and control of marking of the weapon and ammunition;
– oversight within its competencies and
– it performs other activities stipulated by the Law.
