The Direction for Protection and Rescue performs the tasks that relate to:
– Protection from environmental disaster, epidemics and other catastrophes;
– Preparation of the plan for protection and rescue;
– Preparation of the assessment of dangers from epidemics, epizootics, epifotics and other catastrophes;
– Preparation of measures for equipping and developing of the system of protection and rescue of RM;
– Preparation of a prompt and efficient mobilization of the forces for protection and rescue and the teams for prompt reaction;
– Realisation of the strategic aims for protection and rescue;
– Preparation of plans and programs for trainings; and
– Performs other tasks determined by Law.
